We believe in the value of teaching how to learn. Students struggling in the point-grading system are usually those who are not exposed to time management strategies, taught to ask for help, or shown how to study. We believe there are no “bad students”, only those that haven’t learned how to learn.

Through the Personal Agency component in every lesson, mentors guide their students to become better learners by setting a specific goal and working towards it, including organization, time management, and self-advocacy.
